We currently have vacancies for 2 Workbased Learning Assessors.
1 x Health & Social Care
1 x Administration, Management, Retail and Hospitality to cover Maternity Leave commencing in June 2018

To assess to a group of Apprenticeship learners and support them to achieve all elements of their framework including the NVQ and Essential Skills Qualifications.


1 Market workbased learning to existing and new employers and learners
2 Prepare Apprenticeship candidates for assessment in their workplace
3 Assess Apprenticeship candidates in their workplace
4 Provide candidates with feedback from assessments
5 Assist Apprenticeship candidates in portfolio preparation
6 Continually review Apprenticeship candidates' progress and assist in action planning to promote their learning
7 To undertake all necessary preparation, administration and assessment associated with support of Apprenticeship candidates
8 Provide appropriate learning support to enable effective assessment
9 Attend training courses that support and develop personal and organisational needs


1 Participate in enrolment and induction of Apprenticeship candidates onto programmes
2 Provide up to date information related to the role of Apprenticeship Assessor to the Internal Quality Assurer and Contract Manager
3 Respond to all correspondence (email, telephone) within 24 hours, and ensure effective regular communication with relevant Line Manager
4 Maintain an up to date and accurate electronic calendar, and ensure up to 4 weeks forecasted activities are maintained
5 To attend all company and department meetings relevant to the role
6 Maintain regular contact with the relevant Internal Quality Assurer appointed for the occupational route in which the post holder is assessing
7 Ensure all paperwork meets any and all legal, contractual or industry obligation as dictated by awarding bodies, government departments and partners

Salary:£18,500 - £21,000
