Playwork
Apprenticeships in Playwork were developed by the Sector Skills Council, Functional Skills. These apprenticeships meet “the needs of employers to widen access to training programs and to extend the recruitment process into the playwork sector”.
A level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship is suitable for people working in supervised settings and is the first step in learning when committing to a career in a playwork setting. Moving on to Level 3 the requirements are looking for a more independent person, preparation of play planning and some aspects of supervision.
