Children’s Care, Learning & Development Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships in Children’s Care, Learning and Development have been designed by the Sector Skills Council, Skills for Care and Development. These Apprenticeships serve to ensure the highest possible standard of competence across a range of job roles where the main purpose is care, learning and development of children.

Level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship is suitable for people who work in supervised settings and is the first building block of learning when committing to a career working with Children. Progressing on to Level 3 the requirements look for an individual who is operating more autonomously, undertaking curriculum planning, activity planning and some aspects of supervision.

All learners must be employed and legally able to live and work in the UK and work for more than 16 hours per week minimum
